About Me

I grew up in the small Southern Illinois town of Millstadt and attended high school in Belleville. I later crossed the Mississippi River to attend Saint Louis University (SLU), where I earned both my undergraduate and law degrees. Not long after becoming an attorney, I had the opportunity to begin working in the field of Social Security disability. After receiving training from a respected attorney, I started handling disability claims and have remained committed to this work since 2007.

The coronavirus pandemic brought unexpected changes to many aspects of daily life, including the legal profession. As the Social Security Administration moved much of its work online, I transitioned to practicing remotely. I never expected to become a “remote attorney,” but since 2020, that’s essentially what I’ve been. I continue to handle cases with the same tenacity and focus—now doing so from a place I’ve always dreamed of living.
